Mug Rug

Hice un pequeño mug rug para una amiga, es fan de Harry Potter...igual que yo... He estado cosiendo durante las siestas de miniR.. tengo tantos proyectos! Espero que él continúe durmiendo durante el día! cada día que pasa, sus siestas son más cortas!! 

I made a mug rug for a friend, she´s a Harry Potter fan... like me.. I´ve sewing during miniR´s naps.. I have so many projects!!I hope he keeps taking naps! each day he sleeps less during the day..

Días ocupados / Busy days

Mini R y yo pasamos todos los días juntos, leemos, jugamos, nos disfrutamos.... ya tiene su libro favorito "Nobunny´s perfect", ya me lo sé de memoria, Me gusta observa los dibujos de cada página... espero que de grande disfrute tanto la lectura como yo...

En Otoño, mi mejor amiga desde pre escolar va a tener un bebé! estoy muy emocionada por la llegada de mi sobrino! Ya quiero empezar a coser su quilt, ya tengo la tela escogida, tiene muchos animales de circo... tengo aproximadamente 4 meses para terminarla...

Para miniR y para mí, hice una quilt del sistema solar, vamos a utilizarla para hacer picnics en casa de mi tía, ya queremos estrenarla! 

Acabo de terminar de leer el libro de  La Doctora Cole, de Noah Gordon, y me ha gustado muchísimo!, es el tercer libro de la Trilogía Cole, cada libro habla sobre la vida de un médico de la familia Cole en diferentes etapas de la historia, disfruté mucho los tres, pero creo que este es mi favorito... 

MiniR and I spend our days together, we read, we play, we enjoy each other... he already has "his favoritebook, "Nobunnyps perfect". I like the way he looks at the pictures and analizes them.. 

In autum, my best friend since kinder garten is having a baby!! I´m sooo excited!  I´ll sew a quilt for him! I´ve already bought the fabric!

For MiniR and I, I made a Solar System quilt, we will use it at my aunt´s house, we can´t wait to use it for the first time!!

I just finished reading a book "Matters of choice"written by Noah Gordon, It´s part of a trilogy of the Cole Family, and I really enjoyed it! The book is about a family with doctors in different moments in history...

Cumpleaños/ Birthday

La semana pasada, festejamos mi cumpleaños. Fue un cumpleaños con mi esposo y mi pequeño miniR. Comimos juntos en casa y fuimos al Museo Nacional de Antropología e Historia en Chapultepec. Me encantó el Museo, a pesar de ser grande, no es cansado recorrerlo. La cultura de México está bien documentada, exhibida y clasificada. MiniR se portó muy bien, se durmió hacia el final, pero no lloró....

Last week we celebrated my birthday. It was a birthday with my husband and my little miniR. We ate together  at home, and then we went to the museum (Museo Nacional de Antropología e Historia at Chapultepec. I loved the Museum, it´s big but I didn´t feel tired after seeing it all. Mexican Culture is so well documented and clasified. MiniR was such a good boy, he fall asleep at the end of the museum, but he didin´t cry...

Visitantes/Visitors

Mi ahijada y su hermano vinieron a visitarnos recientemente, me encantó ver sus caritas felices mientras dibujaban.

Mi mamá estuvo de visita en la ciudad, fuimos a casa de mi tía y al acuario, mi parte favorita fueron los pingüinos... fueron día maravillosos y ya no quería que mi mamá se fuera! Compramos esta Sal del Caribe juntas.. mi esposo y yo vivimos en el Caribe un tiempo, y recuerdo Chetumal con mucho cariño.

Una amiga me dio flores por el día de las madres y otra me regaló galletas de nuez!

My goddaughter and her brother came to visit us, I loved to see their happy faces drawing..

My mother came to visit us, we went to visit my aunt and we went to the aquarium, I really loved the penguins... We spent wonderfull days together, I wish she could stay with us forever! We bought salt from de Caribbean Sea, my husband and I used to lived there fora while, I remember Chetumal with so much love...

A friend gave me flowers for the mothers day, anda another friend gave me some home baked cookies!

MUCHO (Museo del Chocolate) / Chocolate Museum

El fin de semana pasado visitamos el MUCHO (Museo del Chocolate) a pesar de que es un museo muy pequeño, nos gustó mucho, al final del recorrido, en su tienda puedes tomar chocolate caliente, comer pan relleno de chocolate, probar chocolates o trufas en diferentes presentaciones y sabores y hasta tamales tienen! Mis fotos no son las mejores porque olvidé mi cámara y tuve que tomarlas con el celular.

Last weekend we visited the Chocolate Museum, it´s a small museum but it is beautiful, we really liked it, at the end, they have a store where you can buy hot chocolate, bread, chocolates and even got chocolate tamales... I forgot my camera, I took these with my cell phone :S

Dieciocho/ Eighteen

                                             

                            

MiniR tiene ya, dieciocho meses, han sido los mejores dieciocho meses de mi vida, me encanta su forma de caminar, su forma de decirme "mamá", como me abraza después de sólo unas horas de no vernos. Eso si, corro detrás de él todo el día, pero lo disfruto. Encuentro juguetes por todas partes, leemos libros juntos... aprendemos juntos...

MiniR is eighteen months old, the best eigtheen months of my life, I love the way he walks, the way he tells me "mama", how he hugs me after a few hours separated from each other. I run all the day with him, but I enjoy it. I find toys everywhere around the house, we read together , and we learn a lot together..

En estos días, cosí esta pequeña quilt para el bebé de una amiga, el bebé nació hace dos meses, me gustó mucho coserla porque fue una quilt fácil de hacer y me gustaron mucho los colores... espero que le guste mucho a mi amiga. La próxima semana mi mamá vendrá a visitarnos, como mi amiga vive en la misma ciudad que mi mamá, se la mandaré con ella... :)

I sew this quilt a few days ago for my friend´s baby, he was born two months ago... It was easy to sew and I really loved the colors, I hope she likes it! Next week my mom will be visiting us!, since my friend lives in the same city, I will send the quilt with my mom.. :)
